Parents will go to great lengths when it comes to giving their children the best possible future, and that's what Rico Rodriguez's parents did. Earlier this year, in a very wholesome post, he remembered one of the most important anniversaries in his life: the anniversary of the day he and his family took the first step towards realizing their dreams. He posted a picture that was taken 16 years ago, the day they moved to California to pursue the life they wanted. He was happy to report they were all doing great, and said he was looking forward to the next 16 years. Fans are probably thinking the same thing. Modern Family might be over, but Rico is still very young, and there's no telling how many more amazing projects he will be involved in in the future. The best is yet to come.
5 He Went To A Particular Party
Recently, actress and singer Ashley Argota got engaged to her lovely fiancé, Mick Torres. Readers might remember Ashley from Nickelodeon's sitcomsTrue Jackson, VP, where she played the role of Lulu, and Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, where she played Kelly. Ashley is also a very good friend of Rico's.

She and her fiancé decided that they wanted to have a combined bachelor/bachelorette party, but that wasn't the only peculiar thing about their celebration. Rico posted a very funny picture where he appeared in Mo’s House of Axe, a venue in Los Angeles where people practice ax throwing. He looked very proud of himself, so it's probably safe to assume he did very well. He is a man of many talents after all.
4 He Went To A Shooting Range
Aside from having a combined party before their wedding, Ashley Argota and Mick Torres also had their respective, private parties. Being also friends with Mick, Rico was invited to the celebrations for his bachelor party, which lasted a whole weekend.

He shared a few pictures and videos of the first activity of the weekend, which happened in a shooting range. He had a lot of fun with his friends there, and apparently, he is great at shooting.
3 He Got A Special Birthday Present
This year, Rico turned 23, which, fans discovered, was an important number to him. He described this as "his Jordan year", referring to Michael Jordan because 23 is the number he wears. He also posted a picture of himself wearing a shirt with that number. But that nice shirt wasn't the special gift. What he got was even better. His siblings, Roy Rodriguez, and actress Raini Rodriguez, most well-known for her role in Disney's TV series Austin & Ally and her many amazing movies, had a pair of Houston Rocket sneakers custom-made for him. Rico was over the moon and instantly loved them. He thanked them profusely in an Instagram post and shared several pictures.
2 He's Supporting His Friend's New Project

This is what reads on the website of the new clothing line that Rico's friend, Andrew, recently created. The store is called "nvsble friend", and the actor seems to love the clothes very much because he's taken it upon himself to promote them and encourage fans to go check the collection out.
1 He's Nostalgic Of The Show
In February, Rico posted some pictures of himself in the set of Modern Family, and he wrote: "One year ago today we wrapped on #ModernFamily! Missing my second family extra today."
Aside from the anniversary, another thing that probably made him miss his second family, as he so sweetly worded it, is the recent news that Hulu is now streaming the show. While this is something fans were very happy to hear, reminiscing about Modern Family, a show where he spent over a decade of his life, obviously got him nostalgic. And he wasn't the only one. Another Modern Family star, the great Sofia Vergara, also posted a few very wholesome pictures and videos of the cast and shared how much she missed the show and everyone in it.
